Afterwards admire Qutab Minar - which was built to celebrate the victory of Mohammed Ghori over Rajput king Prithviraj Chauhan in 1192 AD, by his then viceroy, Qutb-ud-din Aibak, who later became the first Sultan of Delhi of the Mamluk dynasty. Qutab Minar is 72.5m high tower dates back to the 13th century and is one of the greatest bequests of the Islamic culture.
